Standardowo w kamerach IP i wideoserwerach z serii GV i PV wyjście alarmowe jest typu cyfrowego o niewielkiej obciążalności prądowej. Oznacza to, że wykorzystanie tego wyjścia w zasadzie ma sens wyłącznie jako poziomu logicznego. Moduł PV -RELA Y pozwala na bezproblemowe wykorzystanie wyjścia alarmowego zarówno jako poziomu logicznego do współpracy z urządzeniami o wejściach logicznych, jak i jako przekaźnika wykonawczego o separowanych stykach NO i NC. Moduł włącza się jako pośredniczący pomiędzy kamerę i otoczenie techniczne z zachowaniem wszystkich dotychczasowych funkcji, a więc zasilania kamery napięciem 12VDC oraz wykorzystania we/wy alarmowych kamery lub wideoserwera.
