- Before requesting service for a device based on embedded software (firmware), you should try to load the latest version of the software into it, as well as try to software and hardware reset the device to factory settings, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Applications are accepted only through the form available on the POLVISION website.
- After sending the form, the Contractor will receive from the POLVISION service employees a unique RMA application number.
- The device with the application number assigned to it should be delivered to the POLVISION headquarters in the packaging marked with the word RMA.
- Equipment supplied for servicing must be clean, factory reset, and complete enough to minimize the risk of physical damage or contamination of internal electronic components (e.g. cameras must be in the original housing).
- For safety reasons, it is recommended to provide equipment for service in factory packaging.
- The devices delivered to the service along with the sales document or its copy are repaired first.
- If a functional device is delivered to the service, a fee is charged adequate to the time spent on device diagnostics (the minimum amount is EUR 10 net).
- Paid service includes devices in which:
- the warranty period has been exceeded
- warranty conditions violated
- serial number cannot be read
- you can read the serial number, but it is not in the database of devices sold by POLVISION, and the Contractor is not able to document the purchase of this device from POLVISION. - Paid services in the amount of up to EUR 80 net will be repaired without consultation with the Contractor.
- The contractor bears the cost and risk of delivering the device to the service.
- In the case of a paid service, the devices are returned by courier, and the cost of transport is included in the invoice.
- In the case of a warranty service, we return repaired or replaced devices by courier at our expense.
